In the beginning, the founder Tamara Newing started to make cheese in the family's boatShed in 2011. She found comfort in cheesemaking after her youngest son tragically passed away. After a while, her small production of artisan cheeses soon outgrew the boat shed. Since then it has blossomed to a cheesery recognised Australia wide and internationally for its beautiful cheese. The business is now owned by a dairy farming family.
