Errinundra & Marmi Preserves
Errinundra and Marmi Preserves is a joint mother and daughter team, merging together to support each other and our businesses after being impacted by drought, bushfires and the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020.
We are both passionate about Homegrown and Homemade produce, living sustainably and sharing our passion for Preserving and Australian Native Bush foods.
Errinundra Preserves is based in the pristine rainforest of Errinundra in Far East Gippsland, bordering the unique and beauteous Errinundra National Park. It is on our remote property where we grow a variety of Australian Native Bush Foods and our permaculture vegetable and berry garden.
We are fortunate to privately own this little pocket of nature in the Alpine region, Home to the very rare Alpine Pepperberry and an abundant crop of Mountain Pepperberry. These Native superfoods are wild grown and air dried, so you receive a nutrient packed, quality product, bursting with healing goodness and a delicious layered flavour and slow release heat. We have also created a unique line of Pepperberry Preserves with our own recipes and using our fresh seasonal produce.
Marmi Made Crafts & Preserves
My name is Maria Armistead and I am the maker and creator of Marmi Made Crafts & Preserves based in Metung, East Gippsland, Vic.
My love of cooking has seen me making condiments and other foods for many years in our family’s Hot Food business. I recently decided to add more items to my traditional and gourmet Relishes, Pickles and Jams range and joined forces with my daughter Laura of Errinundra Preserves with her Native Pepperberry products, by selling both of our products at local markets, stores and online.
All ingredients are either home grown or locally sourced and prepared by hand by me. Every item is made with love and in small batches, keeping with traditional preserving methods.
