Skybury Coffee is located just outside Mareeba, at the northern end of the Atherton Tablelands. Providing the iperfect climate for growing our Bourbon variety of Arabica coffee.
Who is Skybury?
Skybury coffee farm is home to three generations of the MacLaughlin family, with each generation teaching the next about the art of coffee making.
One of the best part of the year is when Skybury’s coffee trees spectacularly flower in October, filling the local area with the flowers’ jasmine-like perfume.
Cherries will start to grow on the tree after it has flowered, which will produce the delicious coffee beans. Around harvest time, these cherries are red and sweet, and can be eaten straight from the tree. (Which is very tempting)
