Warndu is an Indigenous owned company. Warndu means good in the Adnyamathanha language, native to the Flinders Ranges country in South Australia. They are on a mission to bring native Australian produce, and insights on taking care of Country, to a wider audience.
Warndu is building a movement that hopes to break new ground, by driving interest, increasing awareness, and boosting demand for native ingredients that you can find on Artisans Bend. They are also working to build on insights and learnings handed down through generations, to increase the amount of Indigenous ownership in Australia’s native food industry, which Warndu estimates to be barely 2% in 2020.
Warndu is a small enterprise founded by Damien Coulthard, Rebecca Sullivan, and Siobhan O'Toole. It combines their talents and passions to strengthen community, and belonging, both locally and nationally. They are providing people with a wide range of ways to connect with Indigenous culture and tradition.
Nurturing a better connection to Country.
Warndu’s mission is to REGENERATE culture, community, tradition, health, and our soils. Every product they sell includes one or more native Australian Ingredient.
