White Possum is the creation of a once corporate high-flyer but now passionate-about-small-producers and chief Possum, Paul Peng. The original vision in 2014 was to help promote and distribute small Australian distilleries’ spirits. From there, White Possum has noticed gaps in the market for good quality, Australian-produced liqueurs that are normally imported from Europe, such as Amaretto, Maraschino, Hazelnut or Dark Cacao. As a result, the award-winning* “Naked” range was created. White Possum sources their raw products from Australian producers where at all possible, including the hazelnuts for their rich, smooth and oh-so-moorish Hazelnut Liqueur, and the apricot kernels to make an Amaretto with an Australian twist for the marzipan roundness that kicks in all the right places.
White Possum’s creativity doesn’t stop there. When you receive your beautifully packaged bottle, you will notice that they’ve recycled almost everything. No two bottles are the same as they re-use bottles from local establishments, and wax seal their liqueurs within them. Any plastics in your recycled box used to cushion the bottle’s journey has had a past life in packaging that’s been delivered to them. So you can feel good about sipping your decadent cocktail knowing that your environmental footprint is smaller than that of a white possum.
