Brussels famous little boy is made of soft and sweet liquorice. It has a firm outside and soft inside. This is exactly the same as the well known 'Bielsen' drop.

Dutch Brussels manneke trivia
Brussels manneke has been peeing in the fountain since 1618 (or 1619). In Dutch he is also known as 'Manneke pis' which translates to 'little pissing man'
Since 1987 you can also find a female version in Brussels: Jeaneke, who is squatting and urinating. As far as we know there is no liquorice version yet.
