Figs macerated & simmered in an aromatic spiced syrup of Australian port (liqueur shiraz).
Serving Suggestion: Add to a cheese board, antipasto. Use as a topping for a goats cheese crostini with crisp shards of proscuitto. Wrap with pancetta & skewer over blue cheese then roast lightly. Add to rolled pork as a stuffing prior to roasting, or dip figs in melted chocolate, set then serve with coffee. Recipe card supplied.
