We get asked all the time, "what should I put on my cheese board?" Well here is the answer to that question. Our specially curated Grazing Box includes four small producers who have created something special to accompany one of our cheese boxes. When it comes to a cheese board, we want it to be simple, and that's what we've done.
Each product is handmade from only Australian ingredients. Our producers are small but full of passion.
The Grazing Box consists of:
Fleur Lavosh by Silver Tongue
Kristina Kucan, began her journey baking delicious sourdough lavosh professionally when starting Silver Tongue Foods in April 2020! When covid hit, her previous contract got suspended and so whilst at home, she started baking the recipes from her childhood. Her beautifully light lavosh is made with sourdough, using techniques she’s learned from her uncle in Croatia! Not only are they amazing on their own, but absolutely divine paired with cheese!
Marinated Baby Figs by Far Meadows Lodge
Far Meadow Lodge is a specialty grocery store, passionate about good quality food, made from fresh, healthy ingredients. They work with South Coast suppliers wherever possible to deliver a delicious product that supports local businesses. Deborah handmakes marinated baby figs that are not only delicious, but also ideal for cheese platters and we cannot get enough of them.
Orange, Cinnamon and Cayenne Dark Chocolate by Jasper & Myrtle
Jasper and Myrtle is the brainchild of Li Peng Monroe and her partner, Peter. Small chocolate makers based in Canberra. All of their chocolates are handmade from cacao beans that they import from small farmers in Papua New Guinea - particularly from the region of Bougainville, where they visit each year to maintain a great relationship with the farmers. Sustainability and traceability of the cocoa beans and all ingredients they use are big core values for them.
Quince Paste and Pear & Pink Pepper Paste by Ugly Duck Fine Foods
Ugly Duck actively combats national food waste. They do so by purchasing fresh produce that doesn’t meet the criteria of grocery stores directly from the farmers. Michelle then makes beautiful chutney, pastes, and relishes! Turning something regarded as “ugly” into something truly remarkable - and award winning! In the Grazing Box you get to try two of her amazing pastes that go so so well with cheese!
